Virginia – A Virginia Student Is Accused Of Making Threats After A 6-Year-Old Shot A Teacher Dead (Watch Video)
A school official stated in an email to parents that a fifth-grade kid at the same Virginia elementary school where a first-grader shot his teacher last month promised friends in a text message that he would “pop some bullets” and instruct someone to shoot up the class.
The email from Karen Lynch, the administrator currently in charge of the Newport News school, claimed that on Saturday, multiple fifth-grade kids were texting one another when the alleged threat was made. Lynch said that once a parent heard about the threat through a different student, they got in touch with the student’s instructor. Administrators were then informed by the teacher.
Lynch wrote, “I immediately phoned the parent and excluded the student from school.”
Police are looking into it, according to Lynch, and a threat assessment is ongoing.

A 6-year-old Richneck kid shot his teacher Abby Zwerner on Jan. 6 with a loaded 9mm handgun, critically injuring her.
Diane Toscano, an attorney for Zwerner, notified school officials last month that Zwerner intends to sue the school district. Toscano said school administrators ignored warnings from several teachers in the hours before the shooting that the boy had a gun and was threatening other students. Zwerner is recovering at home.
