She Was R@ped In Front Of Her Child While Recording Her, Video Surfaces
A 20-year-old man is being kept in custody pending his April bail hearing on charges of raping and attempting to rape a teenage girl on a mountain. He recently appeared in the Standerton Justices Court.
The accused allegedly made a film of himself luring his 17-year-old victim on Facebook. The two could have had a conversation, according to Brigadier Selvy Mohlala, a spokesperson for the Mpumalanga police, which is what led to their meeting on Walk 25 near a mountain in Standerton on Saturday.
The victim allegedly traveled with her infant, who was only a year old at the time. The suspect allegedly told the young woman that he planned to make her kin by climbing to the top of the peak.
As he put it, “Charges are that the three continued to the mountain ridge and on appearance, he raped her before her child,” while recording it on his phone. According to Mohlala, the woman was raped twice on the mountain, and the perpetrator took steps to post the recordings online in the event that she approached.
He claimed that after the incident, the guilty party fled, and the Standerton police received a complaint. The suspect, who was apprehended on Tuesday, Walk 28, is charged with two charges of rape and one count of simple assault.
The Standerton Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offenses Unit (FCS) recently received a case agenda and launched an inquiry, as stated by Mohlala.
The criminal was eventually located in Standerton on Walk 28 and taken into custody. The suspect will continue to be under guardianship until a formal bail application is heard on April 13th.
