“She sabi am pass me self” – Oyinbo lady speaks Pidgin fluently as she opens new buka in Lagos, Nigerians storm shop
Nigerians are chatting on social media about a white woman identified as Oyinbo Princess, who recently opened her new Buka canteen in Abule-Egba, Lagos.
A video that has been going viral on the internet demonstrated Princess’s embracing of Lagos’ lively culture in addition to her usage of the Pidgin language to promote her new food shop.
Her restaurant serves more than just food; in addition, it has a large, cosy viewing area and a game centre, making it a refuge of cosiness, comfort, and fulfilment for her patrons.
The clip, which was made from the buka premises, captured some Nigerian men trooping into the restaurant with excitement as they watched football.
A big banner was tied at the entrance of the eatery as it showed the local delicacies served at the place.
In the video, the eatery, named Oyinbo Princess Buka offers local swallows like Amala, Eba, Semo, amongst other local dishes.
In the poster, it featured Egusi soup, Oha soupl, eforiro soup and so on.
Social media users were amazed at how effortlessly the Oyinbo woman spoke Pidgin without any difficulty.
