Private Car Crushes Nursing Mother To Death While Going To Pay Electricity Bill In Osun
In Olorunda Local Government Area of Osun State, the villagers of Agunbeelewo have reportedly been forced into mourning, according to a report by Vanguard.
After a private car killed a nursing mother on Saturday, they were forced into mourning.
According to reports, the woman, who has only been identified as Iyawo Ori-Ade, was paying her power bill while riding a commercial motorcycle around 3 p.m. on Friday when a Toyota Camry with the license plate Lagos KRD 930 HV crashed into the motorcycle.
According to Wale Oladele, an eyewitness, Bello Ayodeji was driving to Okini when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with the approaching motorcycle.
The woman and the rider sustained severe injuries and were rushed to the Osun State University Teaching Hospital for treatment where she eventually died.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, said: “The passenger died in the hospital she was rushed to for treatment. Her corpse was deposited at the mortuary for autopsy. Investigation in progress.”
