Microfinance Bank Manager Reportedly Commits Suicide Over N1m Loan
A 41-year-old manager of SEAP Micro-Finance Bank Saki named Sola Ogungbe is said to have committed suicide.
In his Iseyin residence, he committed suicide.
According to reports, Ogungbe provided credit facilities to several clients who didn’t repay the loans on time.
Because the former manager hadn’t reported to work on Wednesday due to the loan default problem, a staff member allegedly called Ogungbe’s wife.
The wife found her husband’s corpse when she returned home to tell him about the call.

The dead made a mistake by taking his own life rather than discussing the matter with his companions, according to a close friend of the deceased who asked to remain anonymous.
“The problem of suicide is alarming, Sola made a terrible mistake by killing himself because of debt; if he had discussed this with his friends, perhaps someone would have helped him,” he said.
