Naira Marley And Sam Larry Granted N40 Million Bail After One Month In Police Custody
After being detained by police for several months, Nigerian musician Abdulazeez Fashola, better known as Naira Marley, and music producer Samson Elutu, usually referred to as Sam Larry, were released on bond.
The pair reportedly had to give three sureties, who would act as guarantors, a sizeable payment of N40 million (N20 million apiece).
Sam Larry and Naira Marley were also told to give up their foreign passports and show up weekly to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
The magistrate in charge of the case also issued a warning, saying that any attempt to get in touch with her would be noted and would even be revealed during public court sessions.
After being connected to Mohbad’s demise, they came to be seen as interesting individuals.
