The victor of Saturday’s presidential election in Anambra State has been announced by the Independent National Election Commission, INEC: Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
At precisely 12:50 pm, the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) Vice Chancellor Prof. Nnenna Otti, who served as the Anambra State collation officer, revealed the outcome.
She uttered:
“There are 2,536,156 registered voters overall, and there were 628,590 accredited voters.
“After the exercise, the following votes were tallied by the parties;
A – 343
ADP – 299 AA – 108 AAC – 1012 ADC – 208
APD – 148 APC – 5,111 APGA – 7,388 APM – 325 LP – 58,4621 NNPP – 1,967 NRM – 118
9,036 PDP and 62 PRP
ZLP -1,420 SDP – 84 YPP – 1997
Total votes cast in Anambra State were 613,861.
