INEC Hasn’t Given Us 70% Of Documents We Need To Replace Stolen Mandate – Peter Obi
In a recent interview, former vice president of Nigeria and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for not providing the documents needed to replace a stolen mandate.
He maintained that while INEC has provided some documents, they still haven’t given the PDP the 70% of documents they need.
Obi commended INEC for their efforts in conducting free and fair elections but argued that in order for a successful transition of power to be achieved, the electoral body must provide all the documents necessary for the replacement of a stolen mandate.
Obi also appealed to INEC to increase its efforts in quickly providing the documents in order to ensure a peaceful transfer of power in the upcoming governorship elections.
