‘I Don’t Care About His Father’-Xavi Replies Fati’s Dad
In response to the irate statements made by Ansu Fati’s father, Barcelona Coach Xavi Hernandez has come out in favor of the forward.
Xavi said he will continue to assist the 20-year-old and added that he knows the situation because of his history of injuries.
Recall that earlier in the week, Bori Fati, father to the Spanish international, attacked Barca for not giving his son playing time over the course of the season.
He eagerly demanded that Ansu leaves the club since the services of the player have not been in properly harnessed.
Goal quotes Xavi as having said, “He is calm and attentive. I don’t care about his dad or his entourage; I only care about him.
He said, “I have also experienced comparable circumstances; he is grieving for his son, and I understand him.
Ansu Fati has appeared in 22 games overall, starting just nine League games and substituting in three times.
“I have complete faith and belief in Ansu. As I have done with many other players, I have spoken to him frequently and met him frequently. I’m the first to wish for him success,” he continued.
