Gov Sanwo-Olu Issues 2-day Ultimatum To Agege Traders To Vacate Train Tracks (Video)
Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has given Agege’s traders a two-day deadline to clear the train tracks.
After stopping by the Red Line Rail’s Agege Station on September 27th, the governor issued the ultimatum.
Sanwo-Olu stated to the vendors who were hawking their items on the train track:
“I’m telling you now, I’ve given you two days’ notice, everyone selling chicken is coming to pack everything next week. You can’t stay here; it’s impossible. That’s why I came myself. It’s a government road; it’s for transport, not for the market.
We cannot have government after have invested a lot of money in these things and we are not able to use it, are you listening to me, I have told you. that’s why it’s going to be on the news and newspaper I we don’t want anybody to die when the train starts working because the train is scheduled to pass here every 10 minutes and I don’t want anybody to die here, I don’t want Wahala so all of you leave and I am going to block all the market that no one would be able to pass here.”
