Ghana President Akufo-Addo To Chair Buhari’s Book Launch, Tinubu, Osinbajo Attend As Guests
The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, will preside over the public presentation and launch of two new books on President Muhammadu Buhari’s legacy on Friday, May 19, at the State House Conference Center in Abuja.
Other notable guests anticipated at the book presentation include Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President-elect, and Senator Kashim Shettima, the Vice President-elect, according to a brief statement released on Wednesday by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, and Babagana Kingibe, the Chairman, Organizing Committee for the event.
The two books being presented to the public are “THE LEGACY OF MUHAMMADU BUHARI” by Senator Abu Ibrahim, a former representative of the Southern Katsina Senatorial District in the National Assembly, and “STATE OF REPAIR: HOW MUHAMMADU BUHARI TRIED TO TRANSFORM NIGERIA FOR THE BETTER” by Anthony Goldman, a former journalist and ex-Africa Editor of the Financial Times of London.
When the new government is inaugurated in on May 29, 2023, Buhari is anticipated to vacate the office of the presidency.
