Born in 1947 in Tamaulipas, Mexico, Rodolfo Olivares is a well-respected star saxophonist in the Latin music scene, known for hits such as “Juana La Cubana,” This is the must-have single dance floor for DJs at quinceañeras, weddings, and other San Antonio celebrations. After starting playing professionally at the age of 16, Olivares played and composed music for groups such as Duet Estrella and Tam and Tex before founding Fito Olivares y su Grupo La Pura Sabrosura in Houston in 1980.
