Jules Kounde, a defender for Barcelona, has identified the areas in which his team needs to improve before their Europa League second-leg matchup with Manchester United on Thursday at Old Trafford.
The first match between Barcelona and Man United ended in a 2-2 draw at Camp Nou last week.
Kounde, on the other hand, wants Barcelona to respect their game plan more.
When Xavi’s team is up against Man United’s attackers, he wants them to improve their defense.
Kounde was quoted by Football Espana as saying, “The defense has been key this season,” prior to the match. We face a formidable forward line again tomorrow, on Thursday.
“Because we are aware that we will need to do very well, we face it with great confidence.”
When the game is going back and forth, for instance, there are certain situations that we need to better control. Our match plan is not respected at these times. It is something we must acquire.
