EPL: Paul Scholes Names A Player who Can Help Lampard Land A Permanent Position With Chelsea
Paul Scholes, a former player for Manchester United, has suggested that N’Golo Kante of Chelsea is the player who can help manager Frank Lampard get a permanent position as manager of the Blues at Stamford Bridge.
After Graham Potter was fired, Lampard was appointed Chelsea’s interim manager for the remainder of the campaign.
Scholes, who acknowledged being taken aback by Kante’s return to Chelsea, yet thinks it is advantageous for Lampard to have Kante in his team.
The former midfield maestro might take advantage of his opportunity at the west London club, he added.
Scholes told BT Sport, “I was a little startled [by Lampard’s comeback], especially given the way everything finished at Chelsea.
His time at Everton did not go well, but Frank cannot be held responsible; he must seize this chance.
“Having N’Golo Kante back is one thing that is wonderful for Frank. He’s just played in two games, but he already has a significant impact on the squad.
