EPL: Klopp Sets A Requirement For Liverpool To Defeat Arsenal On Sunday
Jurgen Klopp, manager of Liverpool, has indicated that his team has a chance against Arsenal provided they make themselves “tough to beat.”
Following a 0-0 draw at Chelsea on Tuesday night, Klopp made the following remarks.
The outcome places the Reds in eighth place with 43 points ahead of this Sunday’s visit from the league’s top team.
Liverpool will try to narrow the seven-point gap between themselves and the top four.
“We want to be fifth if we aren’t fourth. I don’t even know where we are right now; it’s not intriguing.
“We still have 10 games left, and the next one is against Arsenal; I don’t care about the other nine.”
“We can win this game if we are tough to beat against Arsenal. If not, Arsenal will simply pass us by, according to Klopp.
