EPL: Klopp Reminds Arsenal About Liverpool’s Home Record And Asks Where Were You Last Season.
Jürgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, has warned “great” Arsenal that his team can defeat them at Anfield.
This weekend, the Arsenal will go to Merseyside to face off against Liverpool at Anfield as they pursue the crown.
Just winning 12 of their 28 league games this season, Liverpool has struggled to maintain consistency and has dropped to seventh place.
Following their 4-1 loss to Manchester City over the weekend, Jurgen’s team drew 0-0 with Chelsea on Tuesday night.
Yet despite Arteta’s team “flying” and “performing amazing football,” Klopp is certain that his team can build on the draw when they meet Arsenal.
After the game on Tuesday, Klopp told the media, “Arsenal is the next game.”
“I’m not sure where Arsenal were exactly a year ago, but they are clearly soaring, in amazing shape, and playing super football right now, and it’s incredibly enjoyable to watch,” said the commentator.
“But, we are present, the game is being played at home, and our home record is better than our away record.
He declared, “Anfield is waiting for us, and we want to deliver.”
