EPL: John Terry Is Prepared For The Chelsea Position
John Terry, a Chelsea great, has acknowledged he is prepared to leave retirement and take on a coaching position at Stamford Bridge.
Since leaving an assistant position at Aston Villa in 2021, the former Blues captain, who made 717 appearances for the Premier League team, has not been in the dugout.
Terry has indicated he may be persuaded to return by the right deal, but he is presently training with the Chelsea Academy.
“From a managerial perspective, I’m finished. The only position for which I would leave my current state of retirement would be one at Chelsea, where I could play a part in the first team.
“I enjoy dealing with the younger players in my current job. Since I went through that experience as a child, too, I’m sharing my expertise with them and talking to them all the time,” Terry told Stephen Hendry’s Cue Tips.
