A bouncer at a nightclub accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl has been detained. The alleged incident took place on Ojike Street in the Mile 1 axis of the Diobu neighbourhood in the Port Harcourt region of Rivers State.
According to a source in the vicinity, the bouncer, who only went by the name Obidiah, instructed the youngster to buy him a recharge card for his cellphone and instructed the victim to bring the card into the room when she returned.
“Immediately she entered the room and gave the recharge card to Obidiah, he locked the door, increased the volume of his radio set and that was how he had carnal knowledge of her,” the source said.
