ASTRO member Moonbin dies at age 25
According to Korean media reports on April 19, Moon Bin, a member of the popular K-pop boy group ASTRO, has passed away. Wen Bin is only 25 years old.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul reportedly said ASTRO member Moon Bin’s manager found him dead at his home, and the manager reportedly called the police after arriving at the scene.
Police have reportedly said they believe Moobin died by suicide and are also reportedly discussing the possibility of conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Moon Bin, known professionally as Moonbin, is a South Korean singer, actor, dancer, and model under the Fantagio label. He is a member of the South Korean boy group Astro and its subgroup Moonbin & Sanha.
Moon Bin was born on January 26, 1998 in Cheongju, North Chungcheong. She attended the Hanlin Multi-Art School and graduated with a BA in Applied Music.
He has a younger sister, Moon Soo, who is a member of the Korean girl group Billlie. Influenced by her mother, Moon Bin debuted in 2004 as a child model and ulzzang. Her notable debut came in 2006 when she appeared in the music video for TVXQ’s song “Balloon”, in which she played a miniature U-Know Yunho. In 2009, she starred in the Korean drama “Boys Over Flowers” for the first time, playing the young version of Kim Bum.
Wenbin has been a trainee of Fangagio since the fifth grade and officially became a trainee in high school. He participated in the company’s boy group project iTeen and was the second trainee to receive the Fantagio iTeen Photo Test Cut. Before debuting in Astro, Moon Bin starred in a web drama called “To Be Continued” with other members.
