Andre Onana Prefers Manchester United Transfer Ahead Of Chelsea Move
Andre Onana, the goalkeeper for Inter, is rumored to favor a transfer to Manchester United over Chelsea.
David de Gea’s contract expires at the end of the month, and he could leave Old Trafford on a free transfer, therefore United must find a goalkeeper by the time summer arrives.
Erik ten Hag is also eager to bring in a replacement for De Gea, who received criticism last season for a number of high-profile gaffes, who has better distribution.
Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga are both available, and Chelsea is also hoping to add a new goalkeeper this summer.
According to The Guardian, both Chelsea and United have approached Inter over a deal for Onana this summer but it’s claimed that the Cameroon international favours a move to Old Trafford if given the choice.
The report also claims that United are targeting Porto’s Diogo Costa as an alternative to Onana.

Speaking last month, Onana’s agent indicated that the goalkeeper would not push for a move away from Inter this summer.
‘He still has a long contract, don’t worry,’ Albert Botines told TVPLAY_CMIT.
‘He’s very happy, he’s playing for the strongest team in Italy.’
Chelsea and Inter have also held talks over deals for Romelu Lukaku and Kalidou Koulibaly.
