A Porn Addicted Dentist Arrested For Murdering His Wife With Poison-Laced Protein Shakes In Order To “Start A New Life With Lover”
James Toliver Craig, a 45-year-old practicing dentist, was arrested on Sunday morning, March 19 for what police called a ‘heinous, complex, and calculated murder’ of his wife Angela Craig, 43.
Angela, who was also the mother of his six children, was admitted to Parker Adventist Hospital on March 6, complaining of abdominal pain, dehydration, vomiting, diarrhea, an altered mental state, and organ failure.
Before she was admitted, James and Angela worked out in their home gym.
‘Before the workout, James made Angela a protein shake or pre-workout shake in which James gave her extra protein because she was feeling sluggish,’ an arrest warrant affidavit against James states. ‘After the workout, Angela became faint and dizzy, and ultimately James took Angela to the hospital.’
She was released the same day, but was hospitalized again at University Hospital Anschutz in Aurora on March 15.
Her condition worsened as she began to suffer from severe seizures. She was eventually put on life support, but lost brain activity and was pronounced brain dead later that day.
James’ dental practice employees and business partners began to suspect foul play after a while. On March 13, a personal package addressed to James that was purchased from Amazon and opened by an office manager at his practice revealed that it contained potassium cyanide.
James had been acting suspiciously in previous days, according to another employee. Instead of using his personal computer in his office, James worked on a computer in an empty exam room.
At the point when police agents looked through the PC in the test room, they observed that James was utilizing an other email address.
On February 27, James searched for the words “‘ using the Google account associated with the secret email address. Is arsenic detectable in an autopsy?’ and “how many grams of pure arsenic will kill a human?”
James also used YouTube to look up poisons. The videos were among the items in his website search history: The “Top 10 Deadliest Plants (They Can Kill You),” “How to Make Poison,” and “Top 5 Undetectable Poisons That Show No Signs of Foul Play”
Craig then placed an order for 10 grams of arsenic from Amazon using the same account. The total amount spent was $13.
According to a family member, James had multiple affairs with a number of women, told Angela he had been addicted to porn since he was a teenager, and drugged Angela about five to six years ago.
According to the same family member, James refused to allow the hospital to perform an autopsy on his wife following her death.
“James said he felt he wouldn’t let them poke her more when she was dead if they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her while she was alive,”
According to the affidavit, a search of James’s phone revealed that he was having a “sexually intimate relationship” with an unknown orthodontist. While his wife was in the hospital, James allegedly flew his mistress from Texas to Denver, Colorado.
