You Should Be Arrested & Jailed – Aremu Afolayan Blasts Godwin Emefiele For Saying CBN Does Not Have Enough Paper To Print New Naira Notes (Watch Video)
In a video that was aired online, prominent Nollywood actor and businessman Aremu Afolayan quickly blasted CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele for saying that the CBN did not have enough paper to print new naira notes.
Keep in mind that the amount of money in circulation has been limited because there have been few Naira notes accessible since the Naira’s makeover.
Protests have started in a number of states around the country as a result of the challenges people encounter when using an ATM from a bank to withdraw money. Some people have died as a result, and some banks have had to close.
Reacting to the New Naira Notes scarcity, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, has said the apex bank does not have the capacity to print adequate new naira notes.
Premium Times reports that Emefiele made the disclosure on Friday, February 10, when he briefed the emergency meeting of the National Council of State.
Responding to this, Aremu Afolayan in an angry outburst lambast CBN Governor Emefiele as he referred to him as a useless decision maker. for bringing hardships to Nigerians.
He added that Emefiele has been doing absolutely nothing as the CBN Governor and he should be arrested and jailed following the death of people so far on the New Nara Note scarcity.
