What Happened To Me After I Gave An Old Beggar £25 In London – Actress Angel Okorie
Angela Okorie, a Nollywood actress and singer, posted on social media about her experience with an elderly beggar in London.
Angela described how, out of generosity, she handed £25 to the elderly woman who approached her on a London street and pleaded for money to feed her.
She said the woman showered her with prayers for the monetary gift, and decreed that she would never lack.
According to Angela, shortly after meeting the woman, she found herself in a similar situation where she was stranded and needed money. Thankfully, someone else also came through for her.
Speaking from personal experience, the mother of one advised people to learn to give generously so that God can send them helpers as well.
Angela uploaded a picture of herself with the senior and stated,
I came upon this elderly woman, and she stated to me,
Hey pretty, can you help me with anything? I’m starving, and I said, “Oh mama hold on,” before reaching into my pockets and giving her 25 pounds. When she started sobbing, I was like, “Mama!” She prayed for me and told me to stop crying, “You won’t ever lack.”
The same day, I went to a restaurant and placed an order for food. I didn’t realize I hadn’t brought my wallet or any cash with me, which is how I ended up stranded, so I asked my driver, “Do you have any money with you, please? I’ll give it to you.”
