Police Are Looking For Potential Victims After Arresting A Mt. Airy Man In An Undercover Sex Operation (Watch Video)
GAINERSBURG, Maryland – A Mt. Airy man was apprehended in a cyber operation in January by detectives acting as a 15-year-old girl. Police are now requesting any potential more victims to come forward since they fear there may be more.
After trying to meet up with someone he believed to be a juvenile girl, Todd Eugene, 51, was accused of sexually soliciting a child.
Immel started a communication with them on social media, confirming they were a “female,” and they continued to have sexually explicit conversations, according to detectives from the Vice and Intelligence Unit of the Montgomery County Police Department.
Immel requested to meet on the 700 block of Rockville Pike on January 19. Detectives took that as a sign to arrest him.
Immel is now detained at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit without being given a bond.
