Over 24 hours after the start of voting in Saturday’s presidential and national assembly elections, not a single result from any of the 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Lagos has been delivered to the State Collation Center.
At the official opening of the center for final collation of election results in Lagos State at around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 26, State Collation Officer Prof. Adenike Oladiji revealed this.
Oladiji stated that the collection was a significant national assignment and that it had brought everyone together.
