Nigerian Woman Set Herself Ablaze Over Inability To Repay 70k Lapo Loan In Abeokuta (Watch Video)

 

A woman sets herself on fire in Abeokuta due to her inability to repay a 70k Lapo loan.

The tragic incident took place in her leased residence in the itoko district of the state’s oke-keesi.

The middle-aged woman was referred to as Mama Dada by residents of her area. Her remains were completely destroyed by the fire, which also destroyed the building as a whole.

Rasheed Aina, a local, claims that the woman killed herself because she couldn’t pay back a debt she obtained from the “LAPO” microfinance bank.
