Man Charged In Prince George’s County With Raping And Robbing Guys He Met On Tinder (Watch Video)
A guy is accused of using a dating app to arrange meetings with potential victims in Prince George’s County whom he allegedly raped or robbed.
According to the Prince George’s County Police, Rodney Richardson, 26, of Brandywine, is accused with rape, kidnapping, using a pistol improperly, and armed robbery in connection with the two events.
Investigators claim that Richardson planned up meetings with his victims on Tinder under a false name.
Investigators said that in one incident, which took place on February 2 in Brandywine, Richardson arranged a rendezvous before kidnapping the adult male victim at gunpoint and stealing his car.
According to the police, Richardson also allegedly took the victim’s wallet and phone during the meeting.
Then, according to the police, on February 10, Richardson met a second adult male victim via a dating app. On Sunday, the incident was reported to the police.
Before getting into his car and driving to his house, the victim first met Richardson at a church.
When the victim arrived at the house, the Richardson allegedly tied his hand, had him to lay out in the trunk, and then started raping him while holding a gun.
According to police, Richardson monitored the victim all night before making the victim travel to a bank the following day and withdraw more than $4,000 for Richardson.
Richardson was detained by police after being arrested in relation to the occurrences on Monday.
Authorities suspect that there may be more victims in this incident.
