Alaafin Of Oyo’s Oldest Aide Dies At 120
The Alaafin of Oyo in Oyo State’s eldest aide, Morenikeji Lasisi, often known as Baba Keji, has passed away.
At the age of 120, he perished.
Before passing away Friday night, Baba Keji, who was thought to be the palace’s oldest resident, served three Alaafins.
He ruled as the Oba for 51 years before passing away ten months after Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, who he succeeded.
Today, he will be interred in accordance with Islamic customs.
