Lautaro Martinez, an Inter Milan star who has been compared to a “prime” Luis Suarez, is said to want Liverpool to sign him.
After a disappointing start to the season, it appears that Liverpool will reorganize their team over the summer, particularly in midfield.
Over the past two windows, the Reds have brought in Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo, and while Inter Live says that they are interested in Nicolo Barella, it appears that Klopp also likes Martinez.
Inter would want about £87 million for Barella, and the same is true for Martinez, according to an Italian outlet.

Although the 25-year-old is said to be a big fan of Klopp, persuading the Nerazzurri to sell their star striker won’t be easy.
Martinez has scored 13 times in 24 Serie A games this season, continuing his excellent play for Simone Inzaghi’s team.
The Argentine’s World Cup performance was subpar, but Chelsea legend Joe Cole compared the player to former Liverpool star Luis Suarez.
He stated, ” I haven’t seen a better Argentina team in at least 15 years. Martinez is great for Messi because he can do two jobs at once.
He manages the channels like prime Suarez. Messi would go to the right, spend a spell, then disappear into the ten and play on instinct. Outstanding.”
Cole was discussing the Inter Milan star shortly before Argentina’s shocking 2-1 defeat of Saudi Arabia to begin their World Cup campaign.
Even though Lionel Scaloni’s team went on to win the competition, Martinez’s performances in Qatar didn’t exactly help Cole. It was a big claim from the former Chelsea player.
Having said that, the striker who is valued at £72 million has been exceptional for Inter over the past few seasons, and as a result, he has been heavily linked with a move to England.
However, it is uncertain whether Liverpool will attempt to sign yet another attacker. In addition to the requirement to bring in a center back, they appear to have more pressing issues in the midfield.
