Musician BurnaBoy has advised Nigerians to stop blaming him for staying out of the current election.
BurnaBoy asserted in a post on his Instagram Stories that he has never received government assistance and that all the good deeds he performs for the country come from his heart, wallet, time, and emotions, rather than in any way as a means of gaining social media acceptance.
Several Nigerians have been criticizing the artist for remaining silent during and after the elections and for failing to cast his vote.
