Peter Okoye, a well-known singer, rejects a diamond chain tester who approached him to inspect the quality of his jewelry.

Chain testers are renowned for exposing both famous people and common people who walk around wearing fake diamond jewelry.

A social media user approached Peter Okoye to get permission to test his bling in a video that has gone viral.

The musician, however, was having none of it and avoided the diamond tester, accusing him of disrespecting his character by possessing a false diamond item.

He asked as he started to walk away, “Do I appear like someone who wears fake?”

The interaction, however, stirred mixed reactions from netizens who applauded Peter Okoye while others ridiculed his unwillingness.

A social media user @aderin_aisha_xo wrote, “It’s content and if he wasn’t cool with it then maybe he was wearing fake a chain because they asked nicely .”
