Boat Capsizes Near Third Midland Bridge, Recovering 17 People (Watch Video)
As a boat capsized close to Lagos’ third Midland bridge, 17 passengers were saved.
A LASWA press release states that no fatalities were reported in connection with the incident.
On Monday, February 20, 2023, “at precisely 6:45 am, a commercial passenger ferry named Fazma logistics, laden with 17 people, departed Ikorodu ferry terminal,” Read the declaration.
Sadly, it sank while traveling to Ebute Ero at the Third Mainland Bridge and the Bariga Ferry Terminal.
First responders, including policemen from the Lagos State Waterways Authority, saved all of the passengers’ lives (LASWA).
“Boat recovery operations started right away, and the investigation is underway while the boat captain is being questioned.” LASWA management’s statement, which was signed, came to an end.
