During the middle of the 1990s, Jose Mourinho worked as the club’s interpreter for Bobby Robson, where he honed his coaching skills.
But Mourinho was more than just a translator. He was Bobby Robson’s assistant coach, scouting opponents and occasionally taking charge of press conferences and training sessions.
Pep Guardiola, the captain at the time, naturally developed a positive relationship with Mourinho. The former Barca midfielder was seen warming up with the Portuguese, who spoke perfect Spanish and could explain tactics and drills.

In a previous post, we talked about the next picture. Except for Carles Busquets, who is still a goalkeeper coach, all four men have gone on to become respected coaches.
Since their time as rival coaches for Real Madrid and Barcelona, respectively, Mourinho and Guardiola have not been able to agree on anything.
Still, both men are winners on a regular basis who have made their names in football history.
