1 killed, 3 Hurt In Shooting At El Paso, Texas Shopping Mall (Watch Video)
Texas’s El Paso (AP) — According to El Paso, Texas, police, a shooting that occurred in a mall on Wednesday left one person dead and three others injured.
Sgt. Robert Gomez, a spokesman for the El Paso police, reported that one individual has been arrested. There was no immediate information provided about that individual.
Gomez claimed that there might be another individual involved, and that police were looking for them. There was no explanation given.
Gomez claimed that a weapon had been found at the scene, but he was unable to elaborate.
Gomez stated, “It’s too early to guess on motive.
The three who were wounded were hospitalized, Gomez said. Their conditions were not known.
Gomez said police believe the scene is secure and that officers are sweeping through the whole mall to verify that.
“This is a large scene,” Gomez said. “It’s going to take some time to clear the mall.”
Authorities have set up a reunification center at a nearby high school.
